I agree with cal.. its a 'thanks but no thanks' situation for me.

just judging from what i see in my new place, PT's in gyms arent the best by a long shot!

there is truth in that if you think of it from their point of view though dude... bare in mind that the lad who gave me my health check said that i was the ONLY person he'd checked that had gaining mass as one of my goals - the rest just wanted to 'tone up' or lose fat... In which case, twice a week wouldnt be enough really would it?

Dont worry, Im not planning on changing anything.

I even cant be bothered to have the personal training. The only thing I did do today, was get some one to show me correct use of the leg press and curls...

Turns out I wasnt doing em right at all!

Next time.

What was good tho was the military press. I had to use a bare bar, becuase anything else would be too heavy.

Regardless I wasnt able to complete 10 x 3, I got up to the 9th rep on the last set, and failed.

One up one down.

My cat of 17years is in hospital. Not looking good.

:(

I cant move my fucking arms!

Breakfast 9am:

2 Brown toast, banana and 30g whey.

11 am: Almonds 1 ounce.

Lunch 1pm:

Rice / potatoe, chicken / tuna, vegetables + 1 egg

Pre Workout 6pm: Rice / potaotes, chicken / tuna vege + 1 egg

I did notice, that I was getting very drained about 60% through the routine.

You know, glycogen depletion blablabla...

Was drinking water during workout, but it doesnt provide any energy.

Any suggestions?

When doing the Military Press, are feet shoulder width apart?

My arms are still so sore from Monday. Today is the first day, I can just about fully extend them.

Still very sore.

Due to train again today at 7pm!!!!!

Bad idea, training when sore?

Its not the bicep thats sore, its the forearms, especially the muscle above the elbow joint.

sounds like you've given the tendons a bit of a beating to me mate..

i would train still though (newbie aches are to be expected after 6 months out) although im sure cal would disagree.

Just come back form the gym today.

Maybe its becuase Im not used to it, but Training Monday and then Friday seemed to much.

My chest was still sore, so my bench suffered.

Also the Full Body im losing alot of energy as I go along.

By the time I made it to the final excersie - triceps I had no energy to do em.

Was thinking maybe if a 3 day split would be better....

Maybe its just because my body isnt conditioned enough yet to train, it has been 5-6 months of been completely lazy.

Thi8nking of changing the chin ups to something else.... as they seem to hit the biceps rather than the muscle im trying to target, aka the back....

Also the tricp rope pushdowns, was driving me crazy. Keep scratching my self.

Maybe the push downs is more toning excersies, and im missing the point?

Your like this Cal:

http://www.anabolicsecrets.com/ejournal_issue6.htm

If aftyer about 6 months I can get my knee to at least not be too sore to walk on the next day, I will defo start squats.

At the moment, squating, will leave me unable to put pressure on the knee the next day.
